The Razorbacks re-take the top spot after a series win at Ole Miss

Here are our Southeastern Conference power rankings as the season heads into Week Nine.

Each teams record, SEC record and RPI (as of Monday afternoon) is listed in parenthesis.

1. Arkansas (26-5, 9-3, 1): Razorbacks (12-3 against Quad 1) have earned this spot for now.

2. Vanderbilt (25-5, 9-3, 9): Yes, injuries have hit the Commodores hard, but there was little excuse to get shellacked at home the way they were.

3. Mississippi State (24-7, 8-4, 10): Bulldogs have the league's second-best overall run differential (plus-118) behind Vandy (plus-133), though they're just plus-8 in league play.

4. Tennessee (27-6, 9-3, 5): If Connor Pavolony (.208) and Max Ferguson (.225) start hitting, look out.

5. Ole Miss (24-8, 8-4, 21): The Rebels lead the league in runs scored overall (250) and in league games (92).

6. South Carolina (21-9, 8-4, 13): Carolina's 52 runs allowed in league play is second behind Vandy (46).

7. Georgia (20-11, 5-7, 23): Jonathan Cannon and Connor Tate were named the league's hitter and pitcher of the week.

8. Florida (21-11, 6-6, 32): Gators just can't figure out how to win on the road (2-6).

9. Alabama (19-12, 5-7, 17): The Crimson Tide have played better on the road (7-3) than at home (12-9).

10. Kentucky (20-9, 6-6, 56): That record is looking like a product of the schedule, as the Wildcats are just 2-7 against Quad 1.

11. LSU (20-12, 3-9, 38): Eight losses have come against top-10 RPI teams.

12. Texas A&M (19-15, 3-9, 122): The Aggies are riding a league-worst six-game losing streak.

13. Missouri (11-19, 4-8, 102): Tigers (minus-71) are the league's only team with worse than a plus-50 overall run differential.

14. Auburn (12-16, 1-11, 104): It's bad luck (1-6 in one-run SEC games) as much as bad pitching (92 runs allowed in the league), but at some point you've got to win games.
