Southeastern 14 launched in February 2021 with the goal of covering the Southeastern Conference like nobody else. A year later, we’re making our coverage even better by adding William Drummond—the man behind the @SECBaseball Twitter account—to our staff.

Drummond, an avid follower of SEC baseball for nearly two decades, started the @SECBaseball account in 2019 as a way to connect SEC fans to the game. That account has grown to over 20,000 followers.

We're thrilled to add Drummond to our staff, and you'll see him frequently here. He’ll become a regular on this season on Southeastern 14’s YouTube videos and podcasts, as well as contribute to our written content.

“I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to join the team at Southeastern 14," Drummond said. "In addition to knowing them for their great content, upon connecting it became clear that their approach to put an emphasis on baseball and basketball coverage alongside football would differentiate them from others. I’m looking forward to building a great product with the team.”

Drummond recently helped us preview the SEC East and West divisions for the upcoming season, which you can watch below. You may also find them at our YouTube channel or at our audio-only podcast feed.

The SEC baseball season starts on Friday, with all 14 teams in action.
