The Harsin era continues at Auburn

Twelve days ago we thought the tenure of coach Bryan Harsin at Auburn was going to be short lived, and that Tigers would be searching for a new head coach. After a week full of rumor and speculation, Auburn University released an official statement that Harsin will remain the coach of the Tigers.

The questions now is how long will he last, and what can he do to prove that he can successfully lead the program?

It may be an uphill climb for Harsin moving forward, but you can bet that we will see the hardest-working Harsin that you could see. He first task, and one that will be difficult, is bringing in an offensive coordinator.

I also think we will see the Tigers hit the transfer portal and pick up some skill players in the offseason as well.

The off season is where you can start winning and his is a very important off season for Harsin.

 SEC: Quarterback conference

There is always debate over who is “Quarterback U” meaning which is school is tabbed quarterback university, having the best quarterback room and development.

No matter where you lean on the debate. I think we can all conclude that the SEC is “QB Conference”, especially after Sunday night. The biggest game on the biggest stage in professional football featured and SEC quarterback for each team.

Joe Burrow, who led the LSU Tigers to a College Football Playoff Championship in 2019 led the way for the Cincinnati Bengals, and former Georgia Bulldog Matthew Stafford led the LA Rams to winning the Super Bowl.

The SEC had eight former quarterback taking starting snaps during the 2021 season. The SEC dominates in a lot of categories, and quarterback play is becoming one of them.
