The Texas A&M Aggies have underachieved as a football program over the last couple of seasons relative to lofty goals and expectations. Jimbo Fisher's squad is loaded with talent and experience heading into the 2023 season.
There are reasons to believe that the Aggies take a huge leap forward this season. Connor Weigman at QB and a very underrated wide receiver and tight end corps under the tutelage and offensive mind of new Offensive Coordinator Bobby Petrino are all big reasons. Also, the defense returns a lot of talent in the front seven and will now be in year two of Defensive Coordinator, and now linebacker coach, DJ Durkin's scheme.
