Tennessee Volunteers vs Pitt Panthers.


Southeastern 14 previews the rematch of Vols/Panthers. In 2021 Kenny Pickett and Pitt came into Rocky Top and defeated UT 41-34. That was Josh Heupel's first season with the Vols and the UT was yet to fully turn the QB job over yet to Hendon Hooker. Things are much different now for UT offensively. Hooker is in full control of the system and looked great in week 1 vs Ball State. 

Things are different for Pitt as well. Kedon Slovis, a transfer from USC is the QB for Pat Narduzzi's squad. Jared Wayne and Konata Mumpfield are the top targets for Pitt replacing Jordan Addison who traded spots with Slovis and went west to play for Lincoln Riley and the Trojans of USC.

Jabari Small and Jaylen Wright provide balance for the UT offense. Cooper Mays spearheads things up front.
Can Pitt's OL improve upon the 5 sacks it allowed against West Virginia? Also, Pitt only rushed for 76 yards against the Mountaineers.

Tennnessee is a 4.5 favorite on the road. The over/under is 64.5.

3:30 kickoff time and the game will be broadcast on ABC.
