Here are SEC football power rankings heading into Week Eight games, with overall and SEC records in parenthesis.

1. Georgia (7-0, 5-0): The Bulldogs are the SEC's only team to gain over twice as many yards per game (430) as they allow (208).

2. Alabama (6-1, 3-1): 'Bama's plus-7 turnover margin leads the league, aided by a plus-3 in a blowout over Mississippi State.

3. Ole Miss (5-1, 2-1): QB Matt Corral (231 yards passing, 195 rushing) willed the Rebels to a win in Knoxville.

4. Kentucky (6-1, 4-1): The 'Cats couldn't run the ball at Georgia, but who does?

5. Auburn (5-2, 2-1): Bo Nix (292 yards passing, 42 rushing and three total touchdowns) was huge in the win in Fayetteville.

6. Arkansas (4-3, 1-3): The Razorbacks have played four of the AP's top 19 teams, plus Texas; the schedule eases up from here.

7. Texas A&M (5-2, 2-2): The league's best running back duo (Isaiah Spiller and Devon Achane) combined for 329 yards of total offense at Missouri.

8. Florida (4-3, 2-3): SP+ and ESPN's FPI still rank the Gators fifth and eighth, respectively, but a league-worst minus-7 turnover margin is UF's undoing.

9. Tennessee (4-3, 2-2): Lost in the ugliness of Saturday night was the fact the Vols played pretty well in a loss.

10. Mississippi St. (3-3, 1-2): The Bulldogs rushed for minus-1 yards and threw three picks in a blowout loss to Alabama.

11. LSU (4-3, 2-2): A week after rushing for 147 yards vs. Kentucky, Tyrion Davis-Price puts up a school-record 287 against Florida.

12. South Carolina (4-3, 1-3): Zeb Noland's only drive resulted in 75 passing yards and a last-minute win for the Gamecocks vs. Vandy.

13. Missouri (3-4, 0-3): Saturday's game was over when the Tigers fell behind 21-0 barely 13 minutes in.

14. Vanderbilt (2-5, 0-3): The Commodore defense forced four turnovers in Columbia, but couldn't get a stop at the end.
