SEC offensive player leaderboard, Week Eight: Young, Corral still battling at the top

Here are our top 14 candidates for SEC Offensive Player of the Year heading into Week Eight. 

1. Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss: 231 yards passing and 195 rushing in a performance for the ages in Knoxville.

2. Bryce Young, QB, Alabama: Threw for 348 yards and four scores in just 21 attempts in 'Bama's win at Mississippi State.

3. KJ Jefferson, QB, Arkansas: The Auburn game wasn't his best, but his body of work in big games has been strong.

4. Brian Robinson, RB, Alabama: Has shown up big in big games, and pass blocks well, too.

5. Isaiah Spiller, RB, Texas A&M: Averaging 6.7 yards on 123 touches. 

6. Chris Rodriguez, RB, Kentucky: Slides after a 7-carry, 7-yard game against Georgia.

7. Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas: Has had at least 109 receiving yards in four of the Razorbacks' last five games.

8. Tyler Badie, RB, Missouri: Leads the league with 1,000 yards from scrimmage, but most of the damage has come out outside the SEC.

9. Evan Neal, LT, Alabama: Future NFL first-rounder protects Young's blind side well.

10. Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia: The league's best pass-catching tight end so far, with 25 receptions for 416 yards and six scores, plus another rushing TD.

11. Hendon Hooker, QB, Tennessee: 18 touchdowns vs. just three turnovers; ranks 14th in the SEC in rushing, too.

12. Will Rogers, QB, MSU: Struggled last week after being sacked seven times and throwing three picks. 

13. Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama: He's probably the Alabama player you least want to see loose in your secondary. 

14. Wan'Dale Robinson, WR, Kentucky: Stock's dipped as he's not eclipsed 65 receiving yards in his last four games.
