Six Kentucky players cleared for play

After a grand jury decided against indictment, Kentucky will regain six players.

A Lexington grand jury decided not to indict six Kentucky football players after charges were filed against the players following an alleged incident at a fraternity party on campus.

The group of six are made up of underclassmen who have all seen gametime as Wildcats The most notable were running back JuTahn McClain, who played in all 11 games of last season in the backfield and returned kicks, along with safety Vito Tisdale, who totaled 20 tackles in 11 games last year including six in the Gator Bowl. 

The alleged incident took place outside of the Alpha Sigma Phi house. After being denied from a party, the players were called racial slurs and a fight ensued which resulted in injuries for bystanding females and several participants. Rumors of weapons possession were unfounded, and the school found no wrongdoing (neither did the courts) from the players as the fraternity has since been put on probation. 

It seems that this unfortunate incident has been resolved which is great news for Kentucky football and the wider community. They will return several key players who have been out of practice since fall camp ahead of a massive game against Florida on Saturday.
