SEC end-of-regular-season power rankings: Georgia and Alabama remain at the top

Here's how we rank the league's 14 teams after the regular season has ended.

Here's how we power rank the league's 14 teams after the regular season has finished.
1. Georgia (12-0, 8-0): 538.com gives the Bulldogs a 56% chance of making the College Football Playoff with a loss to Alabama.
2. Alabama (11-1, 7-1): The Crimson Tide quietly allowed just 298 yards per game in the regular season.
3. Ole Miss (10-2, 6-2): It's the first 10-win regular season in school history.
4. Arkansas (8-4, 4-4): It's the first time Arkansas has won eight games, or finished at least .500 in the league, since 2015.
5. Mississippi St. (7-5, 4-4): MSU's plus-118 yardage differential in all games ranked third in the league.
6. Texas A&M (8-4, 4-4): Since 2013, the Aggies have won no fewer than seven games, but no more than nine.
7. Tennessee (7-5, 4-4): Following a three-game losing streak to Vandy, Tennessee has now won the last three in the series.
8. Kentucky (9-3, 5-3): It's hard to to 9-3 with a minus-13 turnover differential, but somehow the Wildcats have done it.
9. Auburn (6-6, 3-5): The Tigers led Alabama for all but 24 seconds of regulation, but it wasn't good enough.
10. LSU (6-6, 3-5): Of course coach Ed Orgeron went out with an upset of Texas A&M.
11. Missouri (6-6, 3-5): The Tigers allowed 60 points more than they scored, but still ended up at .500 in the regular season.
12. South Carolina (6-6, 3-5): The Gamecock defense improved dramatically in the regular season from a year ago.
13. Florida (6-6, 2-6): The Gators have now won their last three over Florida State.
14. Vanderbilt (2-10, 0-8): Over the last three seasons, Vandy's scored 344 points and allowed 940 against SEC teams.
