SEC football power rankings, Week 10: Auburn rises to third

A big win over Ole Miss has Auburn ascending the rankings.

Here's how we power rank the SEC's 14 teams heading into Week 10.

1. Georgia (8-0, 6-0)A three-touchdown-in-12-plays sequence was enough to beat Florida alone.

2. Alabama (7-1, 4-1): The Crimson Tide are fifth in the country in scoring margin vs. FBS teams

3. Auburn (6-2, 3-1): The Tigers finally got Tank Bigsby (150 yards from scrimmage) going against Ole Miss.

4. Texas A&M (6-2, 3-2): Aggies' 4.76 yards allowed per play are the league's second-best mark behind Georgia.

5. Ole Miss (6-2, 3-2): A banged-up Matt Corral missed part of the Auburn game.

6. Arkansas (5-3, 1-3): The Razorbacks had an off week before finishing with four SEC games, though just one against a ranked team (Alabama).

7. Mississippi St. (5-3, 3-2): Quarterback Will Rogers threw for 344 yards and just three incompletions in a win over Kentucky.

8. Kentucky (6-2, 4-2): The Wildcats don't have a win against an FCS team that's above .500.

9. Florida (4-4, 2-4): Quarterback Anthony Richardson got his shot, but struggled (12-of-20, two picks, 82 yards).

10. Tennessee (4-4, 2-4): A win at Kentucky on Saturday would likely mean an above-.500 season for the Vols.

11. LSU (4-4, 2-3): It's astonishing to see the Tigers as 28.5-point underdogs against Alabama.

12. South Carolina (4-4, 1-4): The Gamecocks' quarterback situation is a bit of a mess

13. Missouri (4-4, 2-3): Tyler Badie (294 yards from scrimmage on 39 touches) literally carried the Tigers to a win at Vandy.

14. Vanderbilt (2-7, 0-5): The Commodores have likely won their last game with Kentucky, Ole Miss and Tennessee ahead.
