Tennessee hasn't named a staring quarterback, though some believe Joe Milton will be the guy.

Tennessee coach Josh Heupel said that the team hasn't settled on a starter yet, according to a report from Adam Sparks at the Knoxville News-Sentinel this week.
Heupel said that he's backed up his se14_prod statement up privately, too.
"I said it in the beginning (of preseason practice), once we have a guy that's earned it and proven it in some respect--not just to the staff, but to the teammates--then you're able to announce a guy," Heupel said, clarifying that the team hadn't been told, either.
The Vols have had a three-way race between Michigan transfer Joe Milton, Virginia Tech transfer Hendon Hooker and holdover Harrison Bailey. Sparks reported that last week, it appeared that Milton had been taking first-team reps in the practice portions open to the media.
Another returning quarterback, Brian Maurer, hit the transfer portal recently after learning he wouldn't start.
The Vols also dismissed prized freshman quarterback recruit Kaidon Salter earlier this summer.
